We were practicing for “old-lady-hood” that particular day when my friend and I arrived at the slightly odd, “in between time”. Sweet Chick Mac and Cheese; gruyere, fontina, aged white cheddar, ritz cracker crust
Fried Chicken and Waffles. Far: Pan roasted chicken.
I settled for the classic plate (you have a choice of waffle that varies from cherry to walnut-parmesan), and with the glorious spread came three flavorful butter toppings in plain, herb, and lavender. This made for, not only food fireworks, but, because of the world we live in, some great Instagram food porn.
