Last week I got to take a little ‘spring break vacation’. This particular vacation was a staycation and also happened to be on the 25th floor of my old office building in the heart of fashion avenue. And yet, between one literal, coconut margarita, beachy braids, and sweet swimwear later, I actually did kinda feel on a spring break of sorts. I got the perfect beachey braid to make me feel sun-swept, even if it was only 50 degrees outside. Super strong margaritas were served in coconuts, setting the spring break mood, and vita coco was also on hand, one of my favorites.

She’s that girl we all want to be when the temperatures hit high, and we yearn to run free from the desks that bind us. That inner part of our summer soul that wants to dash in the fray, and flirt with the sunshine all summer long. And though this only happens a few times a year (at least for most of us), at least there are ways to make the feeling last all year long. By the time I left and headed home, my body was on this island, but my mind was on another one, much more tropical.
