It’s Pride month, and what a month for pride it turned out to be. Life can be funny that way. But this June 2016, another June, another ‘Pride Month’, that could have been unmemorable, became one of the most important times in history. All over the country, and especially in NYC; notably at the Stonewall Inn people were celebrating all the colors of life. This Sunday, they’ll converge again for the annual pride parade, and something tells me this year will be the most intense and powerful one anyone has seen yet.
And on the East side, one New Yorker will be enjoying the end of pride month in her own oddly, stylish way. Celebrating in a vintage, Missoni drop waist dress while devouring an aptly designed bagel; perfect for this month. Because sometimes you have to do what is plainly obvious, and in this case that might just lie somewhere over the rainbow… or at the bottom of my rainbow bagel.
