New Years Eve must haves to ring in the 2016
Polaroid Snap camera. You won’t miss a moment of fun or memory with the new Polaroid Snap instant camera. It’s the company’s 2016 answer to the old, now, sadly vintage prospect of the ‘shake it like a polaroid picture’ camera. But this one is sleek, cute, and even has a memory card so you can store those instant pictures. I bought one as one of his christmas gifts, though I’ll probably be getting more use of it. Buy on Amazon, $100.
Alien Terry Muigler. My new signature perfume for the season. I wore it during the holidays, and several people recognized it correctly by scent. Now that’s the mark of a cool perfume. Buy at Sephora.
Eyeshadow palette. The Clinique holiday gold metallic palette is perfect for the party circuit. An ombre color range from mauve, to taupe, to gold makes for high impact that can easily be played down by a nude lip, perfect for a night out.
Instant all over glow. Comodynes one day bronzer goes on in an instant, and gives you a holiday glow long enough to last you through the night’s events, from ringing in 2016, to breakfast the next day.
the ultimate perfecter. Touch l’eclat from Yves st Laurent is the ultimate when it comes to beauty must haves. The cover up glides on like a brush stroke, and covers, conceals, primes, and even leaves a hint of shimmer. It’s famous in the beauty world, and I’m lucky enough to have few to last me for a few years. Like Elaine fielding sponge worthy men, I use my Touch L’eclat sparingly, putting thought into each use. But during the end of the year, it calls for a little lax behavior, and increased application.
A Champagne Toast. You can’t ring in the new year without a bit of bubbly. This year, I’ll be drinking to 2016 with my favorite party drink; Taittinger Champagne with St Germain. What’s your party drink of choice?
