When the weather gets warmer out, people inherently, go outside. And this week, with temperatures hitting the 80’s, the streets of Manhattan were flooded with people. Natives, tourists, college students; everyone was out and about. But right before the city took over summer with the lightening speed, as it always does, there was a day or two of the perfect, spring weather. Spring is an elusive creative in New York City. It’s a rare bird that is here one minute, and takes off the next, so when you capture it, you have to be gentle. And you have to keep a little warm, while maintaining your cool.
It was nice enough to wear a light top, like my Forever 21 cargo work-shirt, and a slight breeze good enough to justify adding my Target kids capelet. As I sipped on my favorite Gem Spa egg cream, we wandered by a nearby wall frequently visited by graffiti artists. It’s consistently getting washed over, and then immediately graffitied again, so I relished in a piece of art that was also a fleeting New York City moment.
Spring is a time for friends to come together. So I brought my vintage J.Crew pink sequin racerback (I’ve had it since college!!!), and finally introduced my old friend to some of my new ones.
