I grew up never liking watermelon. I, also, like many people who have a disdain for certain foods, had never tasted it either. When I first tried it, in a watermelon feta mint salad, I instantly became obsessed. I don’t know what it is, but something about the combination of those three flavors elicits the most refreshing, delicious summer snack. And the best part of all, it’s so simple and affordable to make. You only need a few ingredients, and it goes great for any party or picnic. Whether your next summer night is attending, or hosting, add this recipe to your repertoire.
I made this watermelon feta mint salad recently for a little picnic I had, and added a touch of honey for my own twist. I plan on making it again very soon. Who would have known the foods you go your whole life thinking you never like are what you wind up enjoying the most.
