As I sit here, debating whether or not I should contact my doctor about my newly self diagnosed S.A.D condition, or if the “disorder” itself is merely a basic, reflex and reaction to the gloominess that is days like today, it’s hard to imagine that Spring even exists, let alone that we will NOT be enduring six extra weeks of this treacherous weather.
But if you are taking cues from Puxatawney Phil, then you, like me, can indeed start dreaming of all those spring activities and items on your style wish list. My thoughts drift to my upcoming trip to Miami, and visions of lime, fuchsia, and coral dance in my head.
Bright colors were spotted ALL over the runway back in September, and now with Spring steadily (okay, maybe not steadily, but hey, eventually) approaching, the sorbet lineups are starting to literally POP up everywhere.
Although I actually had the forethought to wear my coral skinny jeans that I snagged from work last summer, only because they matched my coral target maryjane heels oh so perfectly, this season I am not as eager to un-retire those, and more excited to celebrate the earth and GO Green.
I am loving the look of a light green jean with a plain white or black t-shirt and cute tan sandals. It’s a great spring look that you can play up, or play down.
Although I empathize with Kermit, I must admit, I don’t think I will mind being green this spring….
