Maxi dresses and skirts have been a longtime favorite of mine, and clearly one of the main stand out items for Summer 2011. The best part about this summer trend is that you can do a lot with it; add a layering piece, wear it casual or dressy; and my favorite action item- turning a long skirt into a dress. Never fails… Come fall 11, we will still see these pieces, but they will look different, accessorized with less tan, and more blazer.
