One of the hottest trends to emerge this fall is the pale pink coat. They were all over the fall 2013 runways, from Carven, to 3.1 Phillip Lim, and now, as the clock strikes October, they’re hitting a local store near you. But my favorite by far is the one I spotted last week at the launch event for the Eva Mendes & New York and Company Collection. It’s flattering, and the soft bubblegum color really stands out but can be easily subdued with a simple boyfriend jean or black pant. At $160, it’s a comparable steal to a lot of the other available options and has celebrity Eva Mendes behind it. What more can you want in a fall jacket?
