Film has the power to soothe us, and scare us. Even transform us all together. From my first memory of a scary movie, to my mom being the queen of taping TCM movies, I’ve been obsessed with cinema. Not just what it does, but how it makes me feel. Horror movies and thrillers are my favorite genre. Because of their ability to lighten the stress in your real life, so you can escape into a fantasy one. That’s a benefit that goes largely unexplored, but if you give movies a chance to change you, they surely will.
