Skin Deep: Brights & Boots Usa Beauty Backstage at Trina Turk SS15

At the recent Trina Turk SS15show for NYFW, bold, vibrant colors were evident, not just in the clothing and accessories, but the faces of the models as well. An array of strong, rich brights, boasting sunny vibes splashed across the show. And completing those beach inspired spring looks was a fresh face, glowing with vitamin c, and a spring shimmer. Beneath the bright eyes and lips, skin was hydrated and revitalized behind the scenes, compliments of Boots Usa.

I first became familiar with Boots Beauty as a Walgreens and Duane Reade blogger. That role has me shopping at the mega store quite often. And even when I’m not on the clock, it’s still the best place in New York City to get just about anything you need. Somewhere between department store and drugstore lies the Look Boutique, where you can find a wide array of elevated beauty, skin and hair care, including the Boots products. Already a huge fan of the line, which became popular in the UK, before crossing the pond, it was exciting to see the same brand in my home being used at a big show.

Makeup artists used various Boots products to prep the models skin, including a skin vitality roller, cleansing wipes and rich facial moisturizers. The result: Glowing reviews… literally.
