Blanket Statement ~ Style yourself w/ a blanket wrap this fall

As I’ve already mentioned once this fall, I’m not typically one to fall for trends, but I have 100% succumbed to the look of the season. That is the poncho, handkerchief, or blanket wrap jacket. #1 on my most coveted list is the burberry, which, in having expensive taste, had me picking out what would turn out to be the must have of the season. For me, and others like me, who can’t afford the Burberry poncho, there are dozens of fun alternatives. Depending on what style you want, there are oversized wraps with fringe in camels, and tartans, open label sweaters, and hooded poncho coats. But one of the standout pieces of the season was a simple striped blanket wrap at H&M for only $40. Before the Indian Summer started, I got to wear it earlier this month, when the weather remained warm, except for a nice cool breeze. The perfect time to throw my new H&M blanket wrap over a mint dress for an afternoon stroll downtown.
