In honor of  International Carbonara Day on April 6th, they’re offering a special menu item. Chef Alfonso Sanna’s signature spaghetti carbonara.

The classic dish is typically made with five, simple ingredients. Though more chefs are expanding, testing new creations. For Barilla and Chef Alfonso, the classic doesn’t go out of style. His pasta carbonara includes crispy bacon, pasteurized cage free egg yolk, cheese, (Parmigiano and Pecorino), a touch of cream, and crushed black pepper with Barilla thick spaghetti.
